They appear almost naturally grown. The human-crafted textile in the form of lace pieces is infused with real life during the creation process. Organic design language, a closeness to layered structures like bark or rock formations, and yet still so light, almost incorporeal.
In an elaborate electroplating process, the original lace is coated with silver! This creates a positive form. Using the electroplated lace element, a special silicone mold is then made, which produces the negative for a wax model for further processing. The silicone mold is filled with hot wax under high pressure.
After the wax injection process, the wax lace (positive form) is embedded in a plaster-like molding material and heated in a special oven to nearly 1000°C, so that the wax melts out and the negative for the final casting in gold or silver remains in the molding material. From this, the seemingly fragile but solid silver or golden jewelry pieces are crafted.
